Tracking Muscle Mass with Smart Scale for use in Cronometer charts?
Hey Mods! First time posting and I did a search but didn’t find my answer so hopefully this is okay.
I freaking love Cronometer and all it’s doing for me. I have one question on setup I can’t seem to figure out:
I’ve got a smart scale (Arboleaf) and it writes my weight and body fat percentage to Apple Health, and Cronometer then receives both. I can use these to make a chart tracking my weight and body fat percentage to make sure I’m going in the right direction.
The problem is, I also want a chart that shows my weight and my muscle mass, or lean body mass, or skeletal muscle mass (people call it different things) but basically I want to track my weight loss and my muscle to make sure I’m not losing muscle as I lose weight. However, I’m not getting that info from Apple Health, and I didn’t really even see a match in terms/names between Cronometer and Apple Health where that value would transfer. On top of that my scale doesn’t seem to have a match in terms/names to write that to Apple Health to begin with.
My question is: has anyone gotten their smart scale to successfully write “muscle mass” (or similar term/name) to Apple Health, and then get that into Cronometer for tracking on graphs? If so, which scale did you use, and what term/name do you use within Cronometer to track this?
I hope this makes sense! Thanks so much!
