laptop suggestion for writing & internet: under $700 USD, USA
Hi, all, read through a lot of posts and would love to get a recommendation! I'd like to get a second laptop that I can use just for my writing projects, with limited Internet use. The idea being that I wouldn't be logged into all of my usual time-wasters or connected to iMessage, etc. I have tried creating a different profile for writing but I would love to have a more basic, inexpensive laptop that I can use SOLELY for writing. For this purpose I would just need to have MS Word, FinalDraft, an Internet browser, and a music app.

- Please list, in order of most important to least important, the priority between Size, Weight, Performance, Battery life
Priority:
Performance (would like it to last, and not have to re-purchase)
Battery Life
Weight & Size equal; would like these to be reasonable, but not planning to particularly travel a bunch with it.
- Info/Requirements
As I mentioned, I'm hoping to purchase something inexpensive that will last, that I can use as my trusty writing-focused computer. It doesn't need to be too fancy, I just want it to be reliable, not too slow, and durable! I don't plan to transport it all that much, but might from time to time. Still, battery life would be nice so I can be in different rooms/places if I need to. I would like the performance to not be slow.
If there's anything I haven't thought of, feel free to let me know.
Thanks so much for your help.
