Uuguu and clones coming back to copy

On field [[Uuguu, the omniplasm] and something to make things oozes that aren't normally, e.g. [[Maskwood Nexus]]

I play something like [[Clone]], a 0 toughness creature able to copy. I specifically do not choose to have it copy anything, so that it dies to having 0 toughness.

Uuguu triggers, and as far as I'm aware, sees that [[Clone]], which was an ooze, has died, so creates 2 token copies that aren't legendary.

My question is, if I have the 2 copies of [[Clone]] enter as copies of a legendary creature, be that mine or my opponents;

Do they become legendary by virtue of copying, or does the stated "... and they aren't legendary." Supercede that, and I'm not subject to sacrificing them to the legend rule?
