What’s happening in Berlin this weekend? A few party tips for Friday & Saturday
Re-upload without image :)
Hey everyone, I went through what’s happening on Friday and Saturday and picked six pretty different options. Obviously Berlin has way too much going on to cover everything, but maybe this saves someone a bit of searching :)
Friday, August 14
THE UNKNOWN at Bohnengold
Probably the most relaxed way to start the weekend. Bohnengold opens the bar from 8pm and the DJs take over from 11 with House and Disco until late. Line-up is anna G, Nikklaas and Tommes K. Brandt. Best part: entry is completely free. It’s first come first served though, so apparently getting there early isn’t the worst idea.
TIME MACHINE at Dunckerclub
Completely different direction if electronic music isn’t your thing. DJ Luidor is doing a mix of guitar music from the 80s and 90s with Rock, Indie, Wave and whatever else fits. Starts at 9pm and goes until around 4:30am. Entry is €7, but between 9 and 10pm it’s actually free. The summer garden is open as well...
Fridays @ HAVANNA
For Reggaeton and Latin this is probably the obvious choice out of these six. Havanna has different floors with Reggaeton and Latin Pop, Hip-Hop & Charts plus Salsa, Merengeu and Bachata. There’s even a Salsa/Bachata class before the actual party starts. Regular entry is €10 and women get in free between 10 and 11pm.
Saturday, August 15
Rave The Planet Parade 2026 on Straße des 17. Juni
Probably impossible to make a Berlin party list this weekend without mentioning this one Rave The Planet is back on Saturday for its fifth edition, turning Straße des 17. Juni between the Brandenburg Gate and Großer Stern into one huge electronic music parade. This year’s motto is “IMAGINE LOVE”, with names including Dr. Motte, Maceo Plex, Pan-Pot, Westbam, Nicole Moudaber, Hannah Laing and plenty more spread across the floats. It runs from 2pm to 10pm – and if eight hours of raving through central Berlin somehow aren’t enough, there are a ridiculous number of official and unofficial afterparties happening afterwards.
Ballermann Open Air at Soda Club
Berlin pretending to be Mallorca for eight hours The Kulturbrauerei turns into a big Ballermann open air with acts including Die Atzen and Lorenz Büffel, plus pretty much the full Schlager/Malle atmosphere you’d expect. It runs from 2pm to 10pm and tickets are listed at €25. Definitely either your personal nightmare or exactly what you’ve been waiting for.
OXI GROOVE AFFAIR at OXI
This one starts outside in the OXI Garden at 3pm and then moves indoors from 10pm across two floors, going all the way until 8 in the morning. Musically it’s House in a lot of different forms – Disco grooves, Deep House, classics, percussion and some more driving Tech House later on. Line-up includes Sven Weisemann, La Terrasse, Matteo Gamba, Module One, Anaté and MADAM. currently listed as free entry.
House of Rave w/ Maceo Plex at Ritter Butzke
Probably my pick if you want a bigger electronic name this weekend. Maceo Plex is playing Ritter Butzke with a sound somewhere around Techno, Electro and Breaks, with Ephy Pinkman also on the bill. Starts at 9pm and runs until 3am, tickets are €20. Compared to the daytime stuff above this is definitely the more classic Berlin club-night option.
That’s my small selection for this weekend. If there’s something much better happening that I missed, feel free to add it below :)
