Couches taking space?

I was at Elements 2026 recently and it was INCREDIBLE (shoutout to anyone else who was there!) However I did notice how many couches people had brought which is totally fine, but some of them got pretty close to the stage and an entire crowd filled in around them. It was kind of annoying that they take up so much space in good "real estate" for only a couple of people, and everyone had to give them a wide berth or they'd stumble while dancing/moving.

Personally I wouldn't feel comfortable being the couch people since to me it would be uncomfortable in an implication that I deserve to take up more space than everyone else and potentially get in peoples way, but I'm not saying anyone else has to feel that way. Of course it is also possible they got there early and never moved and the crowd formed around them later.

Anyone else get frustrated by that? Or, any couch-friends wanna share their take? No shade!
