CID Question

Just wondering how the new CID rules work as I'm not entirely sure. I've been qualified since 2022 but still haven't gotten CID (it is bleak out there for English teachers, plus I was limited distance wide for a couple of years so could only do maternity covers near me). I have an interview for the same school as last year next week and I'm really hoping I get it because I love the school, the staff and students are amazing. All of the other new teachers had their interviews in May but my job was up into the air a bit until yesterday/today.

But how does CID work as I know there have been changes recently to how many years you have to work before getting it. Also are there any other conditions to getting it? Would I be eligible if I'm only interviewing now? I've never been close to getting it so I'm confused and lost lol
