Dark sense of humour isn’t cool, like at all.

I have spent my WHOLE life (as much as I remember of it) saying I like dark sense of humor even though I have never made such jokes myself. It made me laugh when others did. And also, I thought it was kinda “cool” to first understand and then laugh at such jokes.

Today one of my family members made a joke about animals life. Called a dead cow “a lovely steak”. Everybody laughed.

I am the only vegan in my family.

It hurt. When they made such a joke on a sensitive matter TO ME, it freaking hurt. I was like visibly sad and my mood was ruined for the whole day.

I will never laugh at such jokes because I can imagine many people get hurt as well but don’t say anything not to cause drama, like I kept it myself today.
