Buy or wait?

It’s time to replace my almost 10 year old Rad City, and there seem to have been some major advances in the past decade! I’m no longer commuting, so a new e-bike would just be for fun and recreation.

I’m looking at the Level 4 ADV, as it seems a great all around bike at a good price.

Are there any major developments around the corner that I should be aware of and wait for, or is now a good time to buy?

I saw a prototype solid state battery at CES in January, but I’m guessing commercial applications are still years away.
