Going to uni tomorrow pretty nervous (but excited)
So tomorrow I’m going to university and moving in officially at 10 something. I’m gonna try to get there a little bit earlier before nine because where I live what seems like a 40 minute drive can take an hour because traffic is just so ass in the morning.
Also, it’s like peak get back to school and get ready time so everyone is trying to either go to school or getting ready to go to school. I am not the exception. But I am pretty nervous because it’s been like four years since I’ve last been in any type of educational setting and I remember struggling like mad trying to get everything done back in high school. The only thing that kept me sane was an insane amount of caffeine and a lot of other types of five hour energy and crap. It’s severely damaged my sleeping patterns, but it got me through high school.
I know I’m probably gonna have to use the same strategy again, but that’s OK. Today is mostly getting ready to throw out all the remaining stuff I can’t take with me and I’m starting to pack my bags and get things ready. I already got one bag packed a week ago, but I’m just getting this other one packed so that I’ll have at least two things ready just in case. I really feel like I should be packing for more but I feel like I’ve gotten everything. We went a whole month beforehand and got all the dorm essentials and stuff so we’re pretty well set.
I’m going in for radiology and hopefully I’ll be able to get through it so I can get a job in radiology because the entire reason why I began to even go is because one day I was just tired of cleaning mess and diarrhea all over the restroom walls at my fast food location and I was like “ enough is enough, I have the power to change my situation” that’s legitimately what I said before I applied.
I’m gonna try my hardest to take this seriously and I’m going to try to find more study tidbits that I can learn from so I can have the best possible beginning and foundation because the one thing I keep hearing is that your first few semesters are the ones that determine everything so I’m gonna take this as seriously as possible and I’m gonna try my hardest to get something going on the sideline so I’ll have money because I’m already getting my tuition and it’s like already close to 10 K which is insane to me. I’m super glad and grateful that I went in state because I can’t imagine how much it cost out of state.
Again, I’m pretty excited but nervous but I have a feeling I got this, and I got even better feeling that I’m gonna get through this just fine and look back at these days and wonder “ wait why the hell was I so afraid that was easy” (I hope 😭✌️)
P.s: MY PRIVATE ROOM IT COMES WITH ITS OWN BATHROOM AND SHOWER TYPE DEAL AND WE HAVE A STOVE A MICROWAVE A DISHWASHER IT’S LITERALLY AN APARTMENT AND I’M SO HAPPY ABOUT IT!! this might be the only chance I’ll ever be able to live in an apartment style place, so I’m gonna take full advantage of it!!!
