How did you find your significant other?

I went to an all-boys' school, didn't have a great time at college and then... adulthood. I've been on dates through the dating apps (and, actually, 1 thru social media), but I've not been on more than 2 dates with the same person this way. (I had a great couple of dates with someone last year, but it started moving too fast and it made me realize I wasn't yet in the right headspace).

I'd love to meet "my person" IRL, in an organic way. I feel like this suits us better(?).

I'm curious about whether you met your person online or IRL?
And how you figured out that they were the right person for you?
