I've been taking your advice

I've been taking a lot of the wonderful advice I've received here and I feel like I'm starting to make sense of this lenormand a bit better. I'm working with simpler, more practical questions and experimenting with signifier cards. Today, I asked a question and I think I've *almost* interpreted correctly, but not sure.

The question was, "Who lied?"

Letter - Crossroads - Clover - Man - Mice

So what I've gleaned from this was the lie took place via written communication such as email or text and was regarding a lucky choice. However, I'm stumped here as I'm not sure if the man was the liar or was TOLD the lie. On one hand, my question was "who lied" and he came up. On the other hand, the letter is behind the man. Could the mice following have something to do with his erosion of trust?

What do y'all think? Is this man a liar or a victim?
