Why does anyone give a flying fuck what the back side of embroidery looks like?!?

I have been looking at some of the embroidery subs, because I love to see what people come up with. But WHY are so many people posting the back side of their project??? Even if the OP doesn't show it, there's inevitably a comment with tons of upvotes asking to see it. And I just don't get it!

No one is going to see that side. That's kind of the whole point. So why does it matter how it looks? Who cares if the threads on the back are crossed, or knotted weird, or whatever?? It literally doesn't matter!
