Whether to play future redeemed or to play the rest of the games

Okay so I’m playing through xenoblade 3 and I am enjoying it a ton but I got the game 3 years ago and am only now finishing it after having restarted it

I am partly aware of the story in xenoblade 2 enough that I know what is going on in 3 and the party in the game along with some parts of the story
I know nothing about 1

Should I get future redeemed or play through 2 and 1 first with how busy I will get soon it will take me a very very long time to finish 1 and 2 so it will feel weird returning to 3 to finish the dlc after awhile

What should I do?
