Placement prep is honestly more mental than technical
The hardest part wasn't DSA.
It was opening LinkedIn every day and seeing someone else getting placed while I was still preparing.
Eventually I stopped comparing.
Started revising OS, CN, DBMS and solving one OA daily.
This company had around 1000 applicants on campus.
After the assessment only a small batch moved ahead.
The interviews were surprisingly resume-heavy.
One small thing that helped was practicing previous OA patterns. I found a few useful ones on OA Helper while preparing and they were pretty close to what companies usually ask.
The offer finally came yesterday.
Worth every rejected application.
