Boyfriend doesnt want me to breastfeed?

My boyfriend is giving hints and seems to be pushing me to bottle feed our son. It comes off as I wont be able to keep up with his appetite and it will hurt. Compares his mouth on my nipples as being more controlled and the babies rough. It feels like he might be jealous and not want to share my breasts with our son. Am I overt I thinking this?
