Natural Reaction to NAC?

I'm posting this for someone I met and chatted with in a different sub. He does not have ability yet to start a new discussion in our sub.

Not sure if this is a natural reaction as NAC begins to detoxify my body and release many heavy metals into my bloodstream or something, but whenever I take even a small amount of NAC (600 mg), after an hour or so I begin to have terrible mood swings and oscillate from sobbing and being incredibly angry. I just feel a sort of general frightening need to break things around me. I know this sounds strange lol but is a reaction like this, albeit far less severe common from this supplement? I live a fairly stressful life, maybe that plays a role.
