Nipple inversion caused by milk coming in
Before I start this story I want to be clear that I have been to multiple doctors and I have had mammograms, ultrasounds and will soon be getting a breast MRI. I’m just looking to see if anyone else has experienced this.
I’m 14 months postpartum and while breastfeeding my nipples have started to go inverted when my milk comes in. They can definitely come back out and they do, but when milk starts to come back they go back in. My OBGYN says that it’s hormonal and just my milk ducts causing the change but of course it still freaks me out because whenever I google it (which I know isn’t the best) it says that’s a concerning change.
I just wanted to see if anyone else has experienced this too? After you were done breastfeeding did they go back to normal?
