Got let go today. Feel relieved.

Got let go today and honestly feel a weight off my chest although I feel like the reasoning was bogus.

Manager accused me of falsifying documents. I was getting sent to a job site 2.5 hours away. Would work 4 hours and drive 2.5 hours back. He said I was charging 8 hours to a job and only working 4.

I was under the impression that we give 30 minutes in the morning and 30 minutes in the evening. That is what he told me and what numerous techs have verified.

Pretty sure it was a personal issue because he was constantly rude and condescending in every interaction with him. The money was nice but the stress was terrible.

Anyways, I already got another job offer but I’m thinking of taking a step away from the trade for a bit. Try something else. Or sell a couple things and start my own business.

Sorry just had to vent. Any advice would be appreciated.
