Advanced Higher English

I am currently in my 6th year of high school and doing my advanced higher english dissertation.

This is a critical piece of writing where you create and review an argument about one or more literary texts. You must use quotations (from the novel), references (to critics, other dissertations and any other relevant material), analysis and critical opinions to create support for your argument rather than a simple summary of the story.

I need advice on what novels to choose (preferably 2). I’m leaning towards ‘Wuthering Heights’ and ‘Pride and Prejudice’. I am unsure of whether or not these are the best choices and wanted to inquire before purchasing.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!
