Why is it always South Asians?

It’s perfectly okay to have preferences in terms of who you wanna marry. For example, I would never want to marry a black guy myself just because that’s something I’m not attracted to. East/Southeast Asians aren’t my type either. Everyone has preferences in this regard. So, how did people having preferences against South Asians end up becoming such a big deal in this sub?
