Hi everyone,

I’m reaching out because my baby girl Coco is only 9 months old my soul animal and she’s been diagnosed with pyometra, a life‑threatening infection of the uterus. She needs emergency surgery tomorrow to remove it.

I first noticed something was wrong when she started leaking thin, watery discharge and licking herself constantly. My gut told me something wasn’t right and even though I live with severe agoraphobia, which makes leaving my house incredibly hard and terrifying, I pushed through my deepest fear, made the calls, and got her to the vet. She saved me so many times I wasn’t going to let her down now.

The vet has been so kind they’ve started her on antibiotics, she’s stable and comfortable.

I’m honestly just feeling so overwhelmed, this is my first real crisis with her, and the thought of her going through surgery tomorrow is tearing me apart. I’m posting here mostly to ask for any advice, kind words, or support , whether you’ve been through this with your own cat, any tips for helping her recover, or just a little moral support while I wait through tonight and tomorrow. Even sharing her story would mean the absolute world to me ,she’s my whole world, and I just want her to grow up happy, healthy, and by my side.💞

Thank you so much for reading — it means more than I can say
