The Cursed Plush

Ive made multiple attempts to get my hands on the Boomrat plush since it came out in 2024. Since Im currently settled in Turkey, importing is a struggle for me (the worst I ever experienced, imo).

My first attempt was via makeship, and it seemed to be going well, but then a month or so passed. Since I didn't get any emails at all, I forgot about it over time. After a year or so, I saw a reel about the plushies and said to myself, "Didn't I order one of those?" It then struck me that I could contact support, so I did. They were mostly helpful and agreed to send me one free of charge.

I awaited the plush's arrival for another month, and when it finally arrived, I found out about the worst part: import fees. Since I was in high school at the time, I couldn't really get my parents to give me money, especially since I had done the whole shipping process without their knowledge. They weren't even angry about that, actually. The problem was that it was over the $30/€30 limit set by the government, so the price doubled. I decided to leave it there. After a few months, when I decided 60 bucks wasnt that much, I checked the customs site and learned the harsh truth: it had been "terminated" after 30 days, and we still had to pay the storage fees.

Now that Ive finally finished high school and am technically an adult, I decided to search the net for a while. Ive seen some on eBay for almost triple the original price, so I thought it was to no avail. Then I learned from a post on Reddit about RimWorld's Juniper Creates site (I think its legitimate?). When I was checking the shipping options, Turkey was listed!

I was relieved it was still in stock. Its been two weeks, and when I checked today, I found out theyve removed a lot of shipping options from there (including turkey) , and now I really dont have any other option but to wait for it to change......................................
