Hi everyone,

I've been investigating something that I haven't seen discussed anywhere, and I'd like to know if I'm the only one experiencing it.

I'm currently using a Galaxy Watch Ultra2, and I had exactly the same behavior on my previous Galaxy Watch 5 Pro.

Samsung Health shows heart rate minute-by-minute (for example: 88-94 bpm, 90-96 bpm, 91-95 bpm...), but then the 30-minute summary often reports something like:

15:30-15:59 → 64-99 bpm

The strange thing is that none of the minute-by-minute entries within that 30-minute period contain a minimum anywhere near 64 bpm. All visible minute values are around 88-100 bpm.

I also exported the heart rate data from Samsung Health, and the exported data is identical to the minute-by-minute values shown in the app. There is still no visible 64 bpm reading.

So I'm wondering:

Is Samsung Health using an internal dataset that isn't exposed to users?

Is this expected behavior?

Or is the 30-minute aggregation simply incorrect?

I have also compared it with a Fitbit tracker worn at the same time, and Fitbit does not report these sudden low heart rate values during the same period.

Could anyone with a Galaxy Watch (Ultra, Watch 8, Watch 7, Watch 6, Watch 5...) check if they see the same behavior?

If several users can reproduce it, it might actually be a Samsung Health issue rather than a hardware problem.

Thanks!

Does anyone else notice inconsistent heart rate summaries in Samsung Health?
