Is launching projects before overthinking better?

I like turning small ideas into way big projects before anyone has even seen them but when I start overthinking everything I might eventually need I've already spent days preparing something I haven't even tested.

I'm trying to do the opposite lately and just get the basic version out quickly like I get the website together with Ploy from the initial idea and make a few changes and then move on after publishing since I'd rather find out alot earlier if people like my idea or not.
