Calendar Apps

I wanted to get a great looking calendar app for my personal and business calendars.
I ended up trialling Fantastical. Love it!!
But then it didn’t work.
When I added a recurring task in my Google calendar - it only sorted that day - no more. After digging into this it seems as though Google does not connect to Fantastical this way.
I found out that Todoist does and can show the recurring tasks.
Has anyone used this and it works - I haven’t downloaded it yet.
I did find a workaround and if i add recurring tasks to my reminders - it shows up on Fantastical- and as soon as i click it as complete - it altars on the next day. A good thing in a way so it doesn’t clutter your calendar. I have three recurring tasks each day I would like to log. But I try to stay away from the Apple calendar as I have never really got on with it.
But it’s annoying that everything can’t just be on one place. I have my Google calendar - then I need to add tasks to removed for it to show on fantastical - it all seems such a long process - I’m trying to simplify things.
Does anyone have any advice or suggestions of what works for them?
Thank you so much.
