I need a Batman movie where the original Red Hood Gang are the main villains.
I've been thinking about how cool it would be to see a Batman movie with the Red Hood Gang as the main villains. Not Jason Todd's Red Hood, but the original Red Hood, or rather, the original Red Hood Gang.
Just imagine a movie where a revolutionary named Red Hood convinces people to take to the streets and commit acts of vandalism in the name of revolution and social discontent against Gotham's corrupt government.
The police try to discover the identity of this supposed revolutionary, but they get nowhere. Then Batman becomes interested in him and starts investigating as well, but he can't figure out who he is either. On top of that, the revolutionaries are difficult to control because of their sheer numbers.
Until one day, almost by coincidence, Batman manages to catch Red Hood. However, instead of finding an idealistic revolutionary, he discovers a failed and frightened actor. The man reveals a terrifying truth: the real Red Hood isn't the person making the calls for the protests, but the person who was paying the actor and sending him the scripts through a secure method.
Batman becomes suspicious and decides to investigate police records, comparing the cases and looking for connections. That's when he discovers something strange: the entire "revolution" of the Red Hoods is actually a cover for a series of luxury-item robberies carried out by a master thief known as Red Hood and his gang.
Whenever someone tried to search for information about this legendary thief, the results became mixed up with those of the supposed revolutionary who had the same name.
Batman becomes suspicious and studies the locations where the revolutionaries have been carrying out their attacks. There, he discovers something even stranger: at every location where the revolutionaries cause a riot, a fire also breaks out, and a valuable object is destroyed and apparently lost forever.
Batman eventually manages to figure out what the next target will be.
After discovering where the revolutionaries' next meeting will take place, he realizes that the real target is nearby: a museum. And sure enough, shortly afterward, a fire breaks out.
That's when the truth is finally revealed.
The real villains of the story are the Red Hood Gang: a group of thieves who invented the legend of a criminal mastermind named Red Hood whom nobody could catch. They used this fictional character as a cover for their crimes, making the police chase after a man who didn't actually exist.
However, after Batman almost discovered them because of a miscalculation, the gang decided to lay low for a while and perfect their plan.
That's how the "revolution" was born.
Everyone was so busy chasing the revolutionaries that nobody stopped to think about the mysterious fires or the valuable objects that disappeared in them.
During the final battle, amid the flames of the museum, Batman manages to catch them. There, he discovers a poor replica of a famous painting that had been inside the museum.
The gang's plan was simple: remove the original painting from the museum and replace it with a replica. Then they would start a fire and let the copy burn, making everyone believe that the original artwork had been destroyed.
Then, once enough time had passed and nobody really remembered the incident anymore, the original painting would mysteriously reappear on the black market or in a private collection.
And it wouldn't be the only case.
A painting believed to have been destroyed in a fire could reappear years later.
A valuable fossil, supposedly lost forever, could show up on the black market.
A jewel that had officially been destroyed could end up in the hands of a collector.
The Red Hood Gang wasn't just stealing objects; they were creating a false story around every robbery.
What I like about this idea is that it moves away from the typical Batman villain: a psychotic killer with some gigantic plan. Instead, we could take advantage of the more detective-focused Batman from Robert Pattinson's movie and make the film practically a crime mystery.
But I want to hear your opinions. Also, who do you think would be good villains for a Batman movie?
