PvP and Seasonal shouldn't be separate modes. [Feedback]
Look at how ARC Raiders handles this: one PvP mode, and you use modifiers if you want, wipe at the end of a season if you want. Nobody's forcing your hand either way.
The numbers that just came out kind of prove the point. Seasonal is 55%, PvE is 38%, PvP is only 7%. So the overwhelming majority of PvP players are already choosing to wipe every season. Why does that 7% need to be walled off into its own mode at all?
Just let people opt out of wiping if that's their thing. I think, if anything, this would make the PvP mode more interesting. The people choosing not to wipe are presumably the more casual players, so they'd get to keep decent gear going up against sweaty chads with fresh loadouts at the start of a season. Meanwhile the 3K+ hour no-lifers reset to nothing like everyone else. Feels like a wash either way.
I don't see the point of splitting the playerbase across two versions of PvP when the data shows almost nobody actually wants the non-wipe, zero-modifier option in the first place.
