How can I use HTTPS on an ESP32 without getting a certificate warning?
Hey, I’m working on an ESP32 project where the ESP32 hosts a configuration web page. It creates its own Wi-Fi network, and I can access the page at:
I’m trying to switch it to HTTPS, but I’m running into the usual certificate warning.
I tried a self-signed certificate, but then every phone/laptop needs to manually trust the certificate, which obviously isn’t practical when there are lots of devices.
Is there any way to make "https://192.168.4.1" trusted by normal browsers without asking the user to install anything?
The ESP32 also needs to work completely locally, without depending on the Internet.
