Honest list of the Temu tools actually worth buying in 2026 (and the ones to skip)
I have bought a lot of Temu tools this year, so here is an honest rundown of what is worth it and what to avoid. No links, just what I found.
Worth buying (hand tools, precision, measuring):
- A 52-piece tool set for the everyday basics, a solid starter kit.
- Precision screwdriver sets, both the mini 2.0mm ones and the big 115-in-1 magnetic kits, for phones, glasses and small electronics. These are often the same as generic brands that cost double elsewhere.
- A cross-line laser level for hanging shelves and frames straight. One of the highest-rated tools I tried.
- A zoomable LED flashlight for the car or garage.
- Chrome vanadium water pump pliers and a universal adjustable wrench.
- A folding hand saw for branches and camping.
- A durable tape measure.
What I would skip:
- Uncertified power tools. Most Temu power tools, including the viral mini cordless chainsaw, do not have UL safety certification for US household use. For anything powered and load-bearing I stick to a proper brand. Temu is best for hand tools, precision and consumables.
If you have a specific tool in mind, ask in the comments and I will tell you if it held up.
