Heart rate confusion
Im female, 35, I have IIH, chronic migraine, hashimotos thyroiditis, FND. Currently on candesartan 16mg for chronic migraine, acetazolamide 500mg for IIH, Levothyroxine 100mcg for thyroid, duluxotine 60mg for nerve pain and Wegovy 0.25 for weight loss (week 3).
I wear a visible heart rate band to help me pace better and manage my symptoms. It tracks my heart rate constantly and sets them in 3 zones: rest, activity and exertion. I have quite a low BPM due to my hashimotos so my zones are quite low with rest being under 67bpm, activity under 100bpm and exertion above 100bpm. My resting heart rate is usually between 45-55 bpm.
This morning I was doing aome general cleaning then went to get a shower. During which I suddenly had this nauseating chest pain, centralised but leaning towards the left if that makes sense. I got dizzy, light headed, blurry vision and shakey. I also had this burning in the centre of my chest like when you have run really hard and your lungs are on fire. I quickly finished and have been laid down ever since. The chest pains have stopped unless I sit up. I still feel everything else but its made worse when I sit up and I feel like im going to pass out when I stand. My pacer has been telling me im either in my exertion zone or activity zone even when im laid down not moving. I just feel very 'off' and unsettled. My head has started to hurt as well.
If I ring 111 they will immediately tell me to go to a and e as there is chest pain involved. However im not rushing out as im a single mum to 5 kids and would need to arrange childcare for likely the night and morning. Having sat in a and e for more hours than id like to due to all my health conditions I dont want to go unless there's genuine concern. I dont know if I maybe pushed myself too hard this morning or maybe the heat?
Im hydrated, ive eaten, ive taken my daily meds, ive been keeping cool from a fan.
Is this maybe just the FND having itself a little moment?
