I’m not sure if this is the proper flare or if this kind of post is allowed but saw something a few days ago about a cat with stomatitis and saw how many people responded saying their cat has had teeth pulled or is going to. THIS IS NOT AN AD. But if I can share my experience maybe I can help improve some situations. My cat is around 3 years old and has severe stomatitis. After doing a lot of reading and trying everything from lysine to dental and immune supports, we weren’t seeing any improvement and were resigning ourselves to pulling her teeth. However our vet let us know about a new treatment that released a few months ago. It’s called GingoPro by stokes pharmacy. Supposed to be a one time treatment for cats with stomatitis and gingivitis that’s supposed to target the underlying causes without needing to pull teeth, or if already pulled to prevent further removal. Our vet has one cat she started before us and she says there have been significant improvements. We started it probably around 3 months ago I think. And so far she seems a lot better. She’s more playful and energetic. And it seems the inflammation has gone down a bit (haven’t check again in a few weeks) they say applying it directly to the gums is best but as I’m sure many people know that’s not the easiest when they have gum pain. So they also say you can mix it into food and that’s what we’ve been doing. Again this isn’t an ad but if I can help a few people save money, and discomfort for their cat by sharing my experience I want to
