Chris Paul CBA + Lakers Involvement

Hilarious back to back points from our boy this episode talking about how hated/toxic the current CBA is in terms of only rewarding "star" players and how impossible it is for teams to keep talent or sign veterans to their actual value due to the second apron (all fair points!). He even read the Jeff Schwartz tweet about "thanks players union" for this awful deal.

Then in LITERALLY THE NEXT point he makes, he tells us to "keep an eye on Chris Paul" with regards to this Iger/Lakers arrangement....

Chris Paul was the president of the players union for 8 years leading up to the new awful CBA. He was also basically forced out of his retirement tour w/ the Clippers last season because everyone hates him personally (I'd imagine these two things are linked, but I'm not there to "see it in person")

If I "literally wrote the Book of Basketball," I might consider this a salient point worth mentioning....it just is!
