Weird surgery prep

Hi, me again. So I had my appointment with a surgeon today to have a biopsy. He felt the mass said it feels like normal breast tissue. Which is fine, it hurts so remove it. That explains why my scans have been clear. He did not biopsy it.

But then the prep before this minor out patient procedure is crazy. I have had minor twilight sedated procedures before.

Now he wants me to not eat the day before. Like complete liquid diet the day before, no food the day of surgery. I need a pre op appointment.

This just screams we found something but we can’t tell you until we know for sure. Like when you get an xray and they give you some bullshit about the doctor having to read it first even though you know it’s broken.

Like I just have this gut feeling they found something because I have never had to prepare for a minor procedure like this before.

I also have a lot of itching and burning and my skin gets hot along the lump and that part of my chest.
