Do you pop manually the bubbles ?

I feel like letting the bubbles pop out naturally make the worth more, like it gives sometimes 2-4coins and even a gem. But when I do it manually it only gives 1 coin. Is it a thing that popping manually decreases the chance of a better reward or is my mind playing tricks on me ? Letting them pop naturally is kind of tiring...
