Shoul I still go through with the sale knowing my buyer will open a rare still sealed box?

Question

I'm in the process of selling a still sealed paperback box set of the Throne of glass series with the original covers and a poster in the box. The value of this item is not just in the original covers but also in its state (still sealed).

In my head this is definitely a rare collector's item and should not be opened. But all my buyers want to buy it for reading and would open it immediately. Of course I know they can do whatever they want with it once they buy it but it would still hurt my soul if such a rare item was "lost" so to say. It's like opening an old and valuable lego set, it loses its value immediately.

Would you care about what the buyer does with it or would you just care about the money it brings in? I'm only selling the set because I need money right now but it is such a gorgeous set and it would hurt me to know that there would be one less sealed box set of the original cover tog books.

I know this might sound silly and I might get downvoted, I'm just curious what you guys think about this, as this hobby is all about collecting rare and special books and this falls into that category.
