Int'l cups vs MLS

Am I the only one who watches the international games with added stress? I feel like first and foremost LAFC is an MLS team, I want them to win the MLS Cup. But the international tournaments seem like an undue amount of work and exhaustion on the players...along with some much higher than MLS injury potential from dirty play and questionable referees.

Look I want them to win every game and I'll watch all that I can, especially when up against good competition. But damn these guys are playing double the games of other teams in the league.

At least they taught me to hate Toluca...

What's the general take on it?
