Drawing on iPad does not feel right at all. Should I go back to drawing tablets?
Hi all. In the past I used to draw with CSP for a few years with an old XP Pen nondisplay tablet and honestly I really enjoyed it. The only reason I stopped was cuz my tablet wire got frayed and eventually life got in the way. I returned to art a few years later with an iPad Air with Procreate installed and I tried a couple times but I just cannot get it to work. I'm not sure if it's me just not liking drawing on display tablets or if I cannot get Procreate's pressure settings to feel right, but the experience of drawing has felt very unnatural to me. I tried following online guides and asking friends who do draw on Procreate, and they seem to be doing fine with stock settings.
At this point I'm very tempted to buy a cheap nondisplay and return to CSP. Should I do that, or should I force myself to stick with iPad a bit longer? Thanks.
