fastest/speedrun playthrough possible while still being mostly completionist?
i used to love this game very much, back in 2021 i did two playthroughs w/all DLC back to back for my very first game ever, and had a great time. (had read and liked the books and my friend gave me an old xbox one to try the game on)
the problem is that since then i have moved on in two ways. first, i no longer have that xbox, and i now play on PS5. and second, once i got the basics of gaming down, i got super addicted to soulslikes and challenge running so that’s all i do these days, and i no longer play games that aren’t torture simulators. i have tried some, even good story ones like BG3, and they just don’t hold my attention.
so i still love the world and story of the witcher, and i really want to play the new DLC when it drops. but the idea of doing another full playthrough that lasts over 100 hours, doing all the sidequests and everything, is really putting me off. but i also don’t have any memory of what is important, what’s not, what can be missed w/o hurting anything etc.
does anyone have a guide to blasting thru the game in a shorter period of time without ending up skipping important collectibles, breaking quests, pissing off npcs, getting a bad ending etc? i have considered playing on the lowest difficulty but i think that would make it feel even more like a chore tbh
