Expectant parent – how/when to start long-term savings and trust/educational planning for the baby?

Hi everyone, I am currently pregnant and trying to figure out how to plan financially for my baby's future. I know I can't open formal accounts yet, but I want to know what steps I should take right now versus what I should set up after birth.
