My (18M) dick doesn't fit in my girlfriend (18F). Will it get better with time and practice?

Me and my girlfriend are both 18 and have been dating for 2.5 months now. We've wanted to take things a bit slower but recently we've struggled keeping our hands off each other. The problem is however that she seems to be a bit too tight for me to put it in.

It's important to note that while I've been in one prior relationship and lost my virginity a while back, she's still a virgin, and is very inexperienced when it comes to sex. Which is one of the reasons we've been taking things slow. She's also a bit on the smaller side of things physically.

I don't think my package is much bigger than the average man, but even 2 fingers seem to be too much for her, and the only time we've tried putting the real deal in, it hurt too much and we had to stop. I also want to add that I don't think a lack of lubrication was an issue.

Will this get better with time, and is it just because she's a virgin and not used to having anything inside of her? And is there anything we can do to help her get used to it? I don't want it to be painful for her.
