What’s something you regret saying/feeling/thinking about pregnancy/parents?

Parent-to-Parent

close family member of mine who has yet to have children is very overly opinionated. For context me and my s/o separated for a little bit and we were able to come back together in a healthy way after some time apart and some therapy. We decided we wanted to have another child. When we decided to move back in together, she told me I was making decisions based on “pregnancy emotions”. Another thing is I am back in school and this person has repeatedly told me that I can stop school at any time so I can focus on the kids even though I have everything handled. Then yesterday, I finally felt comfortable enough to talk to this family member about feeling a little overwhelmed, as I’m about to give birth. (done with school for now by the way won’t start again until mid fall) again this person me told me that my plate is full and I need to focus on the kids and not worry about school “unless I can handle it” and then proceeds to tell me that the earliest yards are of a child’s life are the toughest. Yes I know parenting is hard, but I genuinely enjoy being a parent and I love their early years. ☹️ I don’t want to go on forever, but this person has been overly opinionated about what I’m going to be doing for childcare when school gets more intense, the way live, just really overstepping. I know this person cares a lot too, so I’m trying not to get defensive. Am I wrong for wanting to talk to someoneI love so much and not get a lecture, just receive comfort? I remember being sort of judging towards parents before I had kids on certain areas like a kid screaming in the store (now I send them so much love 😭😂) but I feel like this is just really overstepping.
