1 year LLM at GGSIPU now vs 2 year LLM at NLU next year?

Plan is to get into academics after doing phd.

Just completed a 3 year llb in tier2 college.

Recently got a spot round admission spot in ggsipu for 1 year llm.

Should I wait for another year and try to get into NLU?

Need advice. Asking for a friend.
