Do young people have enough opportunities to participate in social change?

Young people are often called the future, but I think they can have an impact on society right now too.

Volunteering, mentoring, community work, awareness campaigns, and even using social media responsibly can give young people ways to contribute to causes they care about.

At the same time, I wonder whether young people are actually given enough opportunities to participate in meaningful community work or whether they’re mostly expected to focus on studies and careers.

What do you think?

What is one realistic way schools, colleges, NGOs, or communities could encourage more young people to get involved in social issues?
