People to take their cats around; how do you do it? What places are pretty ok with it?

Hello everybody!

I have a cat that I’m hoping to backpack train and travel around with a bit.
I’m thinking walking around places like the mall or with enough public space to give people room would be ideal.

I’m relatively new to this and want to remain kind to those who may deal with allergies.

Any advice appreciated!
