Any ideas on this noise F150 2011?
2011 F150 V6 ~125k miles automatic, just started grumbling angrily out of the blue. Some brief sounds have existed for a few weeks at start up but resolved within a few seconds. Maybe related ... brakes also had what appeared to be temporary hydraulic booster failure today (Google search of experience) when first starting the vehicle, based on soft pedal ... resolved on it's own and I was able to limp it home.
Looking for any insights as to cause, difficulty of fix, and inclination as to reasonable repair cost ahead of a mechanic visit.
The most I've done is brakes/rotors and oil changes. Probably out of my depth on this one. But, interested to hear if diy would be feasible to try given my lack of knowledge.
