Steam Controller problem with Yakuza: Infinite Wealth

Hello, I am having trouble with the steam controller not being recognized in Infinite Wealth.

I've tried unplugging all my other peripherals, enabling steam input, disabling steam input, and enabling the RGG button layout with no luck.

Can anybody help me with this issue or if this happens with any other yakuza game? The controller works fine on any other steam game.
