Search for the work, not the job title

I was getting nowhere searching the same two job titles. I pulled twenty listing I liked, ignored the titles, and wrote down the repeated tasks: vendor scheduling, records cleanup, reporting, and onboarding.

Searching those phrases led me to roles with names I had never considered, including operations coordinator and implementation assistant. The work was nearly identical, but the applicant pools seemed much smaller. I have had three calls since changing the search. If your title is crowded, search the responsibilites instead.
