I think I went crazy with my NPCs

DMing

Hi, it's me again.

I recently ran my second afternoon of Dungeons & Dragons, unlike the previous ones where it was all focused on learning how the game works. This time I decided to focus on the NPCs.

This is the third time we've restarted my game. Now I have a cleric, two sorceresses, a wizard, two druids, and a warlock in my party. ( all the characters are women.)

It turns out that we started out and, as always, the NPCs treated them a bit badly because they were the rejected adventurers, being new, strange, magical, and to top it all off, having someone they considered a criminal.

This is a story that came up at the party: the wizard is a werewolf. So there's controversy because on a full moon with her previous group of adventurers, she went crazy and attacked her former gang.

That's why they abandoned her, and now she's here. Besides being somewhat hated, she is resented because she did something unforgivable to the adventurers.

In short, my party encounters one of those adventurers since she stays in the same inn room as them. And he treats everyone incredibly well except for the werewolf, with whom he argues and tells her all the lore. The group of adventurers in my party didn't even have a name yet.

It turns out that Candela, the NPC, is angry because something unforgivable was done to her friend Sam. And the culprit is the wizard.

I'd like Sam to appear later, but not as a human. I mean, in her madness, she was accidentally cursed. Could you give me some ideas about what that curse might be?
