When Alex goes into hospital Nancy is going to be looking after Anderson and both the dogs?!

Alex said that when she goes into labor Nancy is going to be looking after two dogs and a baby. That doesn't seem at all safe to me, particularly as Nancy is Diabetic and has other health issues. Toddlers take a lot of energy to look after. Surely other family members could help? Like the cousins or the Aunt? It doesn't seem like a good idea for Nancy to be on her own for a number of days and nights.
