My partner is currently hospitalized with a bad manic episode

Feeling low today. The minimum 72 hours went by, and unfortunately, they will have to keep him longer until he is no longer a threat to himself. I too suffer from this disorder. I was hospitalized in 2022 for a terrible suicide attempt. I know how hard it is in there, and all I can think about is his suffering. I now feel terrible for all I put my poor family through with this terrible disease. Anyway, I just wanted to share and if anyone has some words of wisdom, please, do share.
